Happy Monday👋
.
Everything is your fault! At least you think this way if you want to actually grow as a person.
.
See, when we look at things from this perspective it will shift how we think, and the actions we take. It also forces us to analyze ourselves in a way the promotes growth.
.
People who refuse to take ownership over all aspects of their life are also refusing to grow and step into their full potential. You can’t be a victim and grow at the same time, just doesn’t work like that. Most people out there would rather blame someone else, the situation, finances, or even the weather as to why they didn’t or couldn’t achieve their goal.
.
Which once you take ownership of your life you will realize how ridiculous that thinking really is.
.
People that reach their full potential and achieve more are not people that look to point a finger at anyone else but themselves. They understand at the end of the day it doesn’t matter what someone else did, and life certainly does not care what you think is fair. The only thing that matters is our THOUGHTS and our ACTIONS.
.
You can play the oh poor me sound track all you want life will not sympathize with you, and you will only keep yourself down in the victim role.
.
For those that attended the Limitless Seminar know this is my biggest pet peeve with people. Especially being in the fitness industry a lot of people like to play the victim role. I don’t have time to workout, life is to crazy right now, it’s easier to get fast food, or I don’t have money to invest in myself.
.
Not a single one of those are valid.
.
Like I said in the seminar call it what it is and see how that makes you feel. Instead of saying your sugar coated excuse to make yourself feel good and validate your thinking. Say what it really is. I don’t VALUE my health. My Health is NOT a priority to me.
.
First step to taking ownership is being completely honest with yourself.
.
That means facing the reality of our choices and actions and not trying to hide anymore. You don’t have time? Instead look to see where you are spending time that isn’t pushing you forward. I promise you everyone spends easily over an hour a day on social media/ phones. Again be HONEST! Life is to crazy right now? Really write it out. Put down everything you think is crazy. Just generalizing everything makes it seem bigger then what it really is. Just something to keep in mind, there is always someone out there that is going through the same situation as you and achieving more. Why? They made a choice to not be a victim and take ownership. You don’t have money to invest in your health? What are you spending your money on that isn’t serving you and the goals you want to achieve. This is a big one! I have literally gone through people’s bank statements with them. The ones that said they didn’t have the money to invest in themselves. Usually found $600-$1,000 per month that could easily be cut out. Again what we value is what we allow.
.
What are you not taking ownership of in your life? Is it your health? Finances? Relationships?
.
Start with being honest with yourself and then you can finally move forward. I challenge you for the next week to take complete ownership over everything you do, don’t do, or that happens to you this week and pay attention to how your thoughts will change and your actions will shift.
